Two INEC offices in Ebonyi set ablaze
Two offices of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ebonyi State have been set ablaze by unidentified persons.
INEC in a statement on Wednesday, May 19, said the offices are located in Ebonyi and Ezza North Local Government Areas of the state.
Thus incident was the fourth of such attack on INEC facilities in one week.
On Monday, about six vehicles were razed when hoodlums attacked the INEC office in Enugu State. The attack which occurred late on Sunday night was the third on the Commission’s facilities in the state.
Also, on Sunday, May 2, one of its offices in Akwa Ibom State was set ablaze by unknown persons.
