Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade has revealed that the team is still waiting for the $100,000 payment promised to them.
Speaking in a recent WithChude interview, Ajibade confirmed that no part of the money — or even their match bonuses — has been paid.
“We’ve not received the money o. They haven’t. Hopefully they will pay. All the promises you’ve heard back and forth — we’ve not received anything. When they pay, you’ll see it. Even our match bonuses and everything are still a work in progress. We’ve not received anything yet,” she said.
Ajibade’s comments come amid ongoing public interest in the fulfillment of financial commitments made to the national team.
