In a recent report on Channels TV, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed deep emotion and gratitude during a recent political gathering, recalling the early days of his political alliance and reaffirming his administration’s commitment to economic recovery and unity.
Addressing the gathering, President Tinubu began by apologizing for arriving late, stating: “Let me first of all apologize to all of you for coming late. No two questions can be the same, It will be here dead on time to all of you from here.”
He acknowledged the presence of several political figures, saying: “Your Excellencies, the only governor we had there… It’s a joy today to see my son from Niger, and to see Kev. And we have her Speaker and our other statesman, our brother Suleiman and others thank you very much.”
Tinubu reflected on the origins of their political collaboration, recalling: “You brought back the memory of the beginning of the alliance, when we sat down hashing out which way we disagree to agree. To all of you, I just say thank you. It’s a sweet memory, you know, for you to pull yourself together to be here and just follow up on things we’ve been doing.”
He urged unity and resilience, stating: “Don’t worry about the threats. When I see people like you, my determination is to work harder. Stay together for what we believe a progressive government that we always build on the legacies of Muhamadu.”
President Tinubu concluded with a promise of dedication to national development: “What I can promise you is what I’m doing hard work, hard thinking, consulting all of you. First of all, kill the economy, Bring hope to the people, That is what we stood for, And that hope is here. Thank you for believing in me.”
