2027: Tinubu Must Be Very Clever; They May Bring Saraki, Kwankwaso, Or Tambuwal As VP - Ayodele

Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, a prominent Nigerian prophet, has warned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to exercise cautious in the run-up to the 2027 general elections. He claims that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) could be vulnerable to a potential strategic move by the opposition. Ayodele said in a prophetic session that Tinubu’s political rivals would band together and choose a strong running mate to swing the election their way. He emphasised that the next president would be decided by coalition politics.

Ayodele thundered a warning, alluding to the potential involvement of Saraki, Kwankwaso, or Tambuwal as vice president, suggesting that Tinubu must be very astute. The preacher elaborated on how the formation of such an alliance would severely undermine Tinubu’s prospects of being re-elected. The president, he said, should not rule out the formation of unusual alliances hostile to him. The APC’s clout might crumble in the face of a concerted resistance, Ayodele said.

Managing disagreements and uniting behind a single great candidate might be a game-changer for the opposition, he said. If selected as running mates, prominent figures such as Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano State, and Bukola Saraki of the Senate would be formidable figures, according to political analysts. The need of coalition-building and strategic partnerships is highlighted by Ayodele’s prognosis, given the increasingly unstable political situation in Nigeria.

According to observers, Tinubu may find his chances diminished if the opposition is able to recruit prominent politicians to their side, even if he presently has the advantage of being the incumbent. The prophecy has reignited discussions about possible coalitions, and Nigerians are wondering if the opposition would be united or if they will revert to old habits of discord.
