Nigerian social media personality, Mandy Kiss, has broken her silence after facing backlash and a petition calling for her arrest over her controversial “s+x marathon” announcement.
Days ago, the content creator stirred outrage when she revealed plans to stage a Guinness World Record attempt for a 24-hour sex marathon in Lekki, Lagos. The claim quickly went viral, sparking widespread condemnation from Nigerians who branded it immoral.
Guinness World Records later distanced itself from the saga, stating such a challenge is “not a record they recognize,” a clarification that further fueled online debate and kept the stunt trending nationwide.
The matter escalated when the Eselu of Iselu Kingdom, Oba Akintunde Akinyemi, petitioned Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to order Mandy Kiss’ arrest. The monarch described her plan as “sh@meful” and warned it could d@mage Nigeria’s image internationally.
Reacting in a TikTok video, Mandy Kiss dismissed the arrest calls, stressing that her post was purely a publicity stunt. She admitted she never intended to go through with the act, adding that she could not afford any legal b@ttles.
According to her, the viral announcement was only meant to drive up engagement on her social media platforms, not an actual attempt at breaking a world record.
