Bayelsa Pastor on the Run Over Alleged ₦777 Million Fraud
According to reports, a female pastor in Bayelsa State, Pastor Leghemo Ebimie Tonmene, has allegedly fled with ₦777 million belonging to investors.
She was reportedly the manager of an investment scheme nicknamed “Junior Baraza.”
Sources describe Pastor Tonmene, to be a beautiful and charismatic minister, and a pastor with the Christ Embassy Church in Yenagoa. She is now reportedly on the run after being accused of defrauding several individuals, including members of her own congregation.
According to reports, her family is currently searching for her in order to hand her over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), as those she allegedly owes have been harassing them.
The total amount she reportedly owes various individuals is estimated at ₦777 million, a figure that has shocked many residents across Bayelsa.
