Vice President Kashim Shettima has left Abuja for Kebbi State following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive to meet with the state government and families of schoolgirls k+dnapped from Government Girls Secondary School, Maga.

During his visit, the Vice President is scheduled to meet with Governor Nasiru Idris, traditional rulers, security officials, and parents of the abd¥cted students.

President Tinubu specifically instructed VP Shettima to reassure the people of Kebbi State that the Federal Government is committed to ensuring the swift and safe release of the k+dnapped girls.

The Vice President will also convey the President’s condolences regarding recent security challenges and reaffirm the administration’s dedication to protecting all educational institutions across the country.

Accompanying him are APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, the newly appointed Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction Dr. Bernard Doro, Minister of Women Affairs Hon. Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, and the Director-General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Hajiya Zubaida Umar.
