The Nigerian Army has dismissed four soldiers serving in the North-East theatre of operations against Boko Haram and ISWAP.
The personnel identified as Mukaila Mutari (22NA/88/10253), Isah Emmanuel (22NA/83/7262), Kolomo Alex (24NA/86/5151), and Ibrahim Musa (24NA/86/0885) were removed from service for allegedly violating a “standing order,” though the specific infraction has not yet been disclosed.

A standing order in the military refers to a long-term directive or instruction that remains active until officially changed or cancelled. It is unclear which standing order the four men were accused of breaching.

Last Saturday, senior military officials, including Operation Hadin Kai Theatre Commander Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar, reportedly arrived at the Damboa base in Borno State to coordinate rescue efforts for abd¥cted personnel following a v+olent amb¥sh.
Earlier reports indicated that ISWAP f+ghters att@cked a military convoy late Friday night, k+lling several soldiers and members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF).
The att@ckers, described as heavily armed and well-coordinated, launched the strike in what appeared to be a meticulously planned operation, leaving fear and instability in the area.
