The minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Abuja, Nigeria, Nyesom Wike, has called on members of the Ikwerre tribe in Rivers State to keep backing Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president of Nigeria, in all of his political undertakings.
As the first Ikwerre native to have ever been named a minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Abuja, Nyesom Wike recognized himself, and as a sign of appreciation for the ministerial appointment, the Ikwerre people are anticipated to give President Tinubu their unwavering support.
But in the video broadcast by Channels Television, former Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike also maintained that just pledging allegiance to Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president of Nigeria, does not assure a governor a second term, arguing that political agreements must be honored and carried out.
Anyone who wants to be the governor of Rivers State, if you like, sing on your mandate; agreement is agreement, according to the video.
