Heaven’s Gateway Ministries Founder ,Apostle Chikere, Allegedly Shipped Lexus To Nigeria, Falsely Claimed £17,000 in Insurance Payout — Ex-Husband Says

Apostle Chikere Nwafor, founder of Heaven’s Gateway Ministries, has been accused by her ex-husband, Martin Ogbulu, of shipping her Lexus RX450h from the UK to Nigeria and falsely reporting it st%len to collect a £17,000 insurance payout.

Martin told SaharaReporters that he first noticed the car missing from its usual parking spot in the UK, and Chikere initially claimed her cousins had borrowed it for a family event. Martin said the insurance company later paid Chikere nearly £17,000. He insists the car was never stolen but shipped to Nigeria, providing photos of the vehicle in both locations. He further alleged that this was part of a pattern of deceptive behavior.

The report also revisits an earlier case where Apostle Chikere was accused of orchestrating the arrest of Mr. Alfred Morris Oyawari, her longtime church caretaker in Lagos. Alfred, who managed her construction projects since 2018 for a monthly salary of ₦40,000, was arrested over missing materials and detained at Ikoyi Prison. Martin claimed Chikere influenced authorities to delay proceedings, with Alfred’s release contingent on family undertakings to prevent legal action.
