Nigeria’s Public Debt to Reach ₦155 Trillion Following Senate’s Approval of FG’s $6 Billion Loan Request

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has strongly condemned the recent att@cks in Jos, Plateau State, and Kahir village in Kaduna State, describing them as cr+el and unacceptable acts against innocent citizens.

He stated that the k+llings in Jos and the att@ck on wedding guests in Kahir village were a direct ass+ult on the values of the nation, stressing that those responsible would face justice. According to him, att@ckers who strike under the cover of darkness and target defenceless people are cowards whose aim is not just to cause h+rm but also to incite further vi%lence and retaliation.

The President directed security agencies to intensify efforts in tracking down those behind the att@cks, as well as individuals spreading false information that could worsen tensions. He also warned against narratives suggesting the vi%lence was driven by religion.

Tinubu assured Nigerians that security forces are actively handling the situation and emphasized the importance of public cooperation in maintaining peace. He urged communities to follow safety directives such as evacuation and relocation where necessary.

He also called for more proactive measures from security agencies, especially in acting on early warning intelligence to prevent future incidents, while demanding the immediate rescue of those still abd¥cted in Kahir village. He noted the safe return of two victims from Kaduna.
