A substitute teacher and assistant soccer coach in the United States has been arrested following allegations of an inappropriate s+xual relationship with a student.
Mary “Hanna” Mattingly, 31, who worked at Bardstown High School in Kentucky, was taken into custody on Monday after authorities accused her of engaging in s+xual contact with a student and allegedly sending nude photographs to him, according to the Bardstown Police Department.

The case reportedly came to light after school officials received an anonymous letter alleging that Mattingly had maintained inappropriate contact with an unidentified student. Following the complaint, the school administration placed her on immediate leave last week pending the outcome of an investigation.
Mattingly, who also served as an assistant coach for the girls’ soccer team, is now facing charges as investigations continue. Authorities have withheld details about the student involved due to privacy protections.
