Seven family members have allegedly died of food poison in Benin City, Edo State.
The incident happened at No 40, Otete Street, off Textile Mill Road, Ogida quarters, after the seven victims had allegedly eaten a meal on Thursday night.
The mother of four of the victims died last Sunday while the other three, a woman and her two children, came to mourn with the children of the deceased.
The head of the family, an evangelist, who lost his pastor wife five days earlier (last Sunday), was not at home when the incident happened, but he was later informed and came down.
