The Onishe of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom, High Chief James Asika Onwordi Ibori Ubulu has strongly condemned Nigerians m%cking Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON over her recent remarks on Akara as a viable business.
The Onishe described the criticism as “ignorant, elitist, and dang+rous to the spirit of entrepreneurship” among Nigerian youths and women.
He said the First Lady’s message was not about politics, but about economic survival and dignity of labour.
“When Mama Remi Tinubu spoke about Akara, she was speaking wisdom. Instead of mocking her, Nigerians should be asking how to build brands from what we eat daily,” the Onishe stated.
“I say it boldly: Akara business can make you a multi-millionaire.
I have watched women start with one pot and build empires.
Food is the only business that never retires.”
The Onishe declared the total support of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom for the Renewed Hope Initiative for Women’s Economic Empowerment being championed by Senator Remi Tinubu.
“Those laughing at Akara today will be the ones begging for franchise tomorrow.
We must k¥ll this culture of despising small beginnings.
A nation that m%cks its food sellers will import poverty.
Akara is wealth if you work it well,” the Onishe concluded.
