The Rivers State Police Command has cautioned against the act of collecting transport money from men without fulfilling the agreement to visit them, describing it as fr@ud.
In a statement on Thursday, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, said such conduct amounts to “obtaining money under false pretence,” an offence p¥nishable under Nigerian law.
She warned young women who indulge in the act to desist, stressing that the police will not hesitate to treat it as a case of 4+9.
“I am here to give you this piece of information because I am your number one bestie. Collecting transport fare without honouring the agreement is obtaining money under false pretence,” SP Iringe-Koko said.
