 Nigerians mourn demise of music icon, Majek Fashek

Nigerian Music legend, Majekodunmi Fasheke, popularly known as Majek Fashek, died earlier today, and Nigerians have taken to social media to mourn the demise of the reggae music legend.

The death of the music star was announced by his manager, Umenka Uzoma Day, who said;

“Today been having pressure calls, well it is true that the African No 1 Legendary ICON has gone to be with the LORD his Maker.”

“Let celebrate him, his achievements, and his family, whatever decisions made by his immediate family will be notified.”

According to The Punch, Majek Fashek died in a hospital in New York on Monday around 5:45pm after a prolonged illness.
