Drunk Nigerian man arrested for beating a restaurant owner in Kuala Lumpur

A yet-to-be identified Nigerian man, believed to be drunk has been arrested by the authorities after beating a restaurant owner in Bandar Mahkota Cheras,Kuala Lumpur. He also allegedly hit a lorry driver and damaged some items inside the shop.

Harian Metro reports that the incident happened on Monday, Sept.28,2020. According to Kajang District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zaid Hassan, they received an emergency call from a woman who is also the owner of the restaurant at about 4pm.

Following that, the police patrol car (MPV) team was deployed to the scene. In a video by Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS, the suspect could be seen handcuffed and struggling to break free as two police officers try to get him into the car. The suspect can also be seen kicking one of the officers and falls to the ground during the scuffle.
