Anambra Police arrests hoodlums allegedly responsible for the death of 4 police officers
The police in Anambra State, have arrested 17 suspects in connection with the looting and wanton destruction of properties in the state.
It is reported that these hoodlums set ablaze eleven Police Stations, burnt over twenty vehicles including patrol & exhibit vehicles and an Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC). They also vandalized six other Police Stations and carted away motorcycles kept as exhibits.
Also, the hoodlums murdered four Police officers leaving two others seriously injured. One of the murdered officers, Insp John Oche, attached to the state’s Anti-Cult Unit, was beheaded, burnt, and his head was paraded across town.
Right now, investigations are ongoing and efforts are being intensified to apprehend other hoodlums at large.
