US Election Twitter restricts Donald Trump’s tweet raising fears that people are trying to steal the election

US President, Donald Trump has taken to Twitter to accuse some people of trying steal the presidential election.

The republican presidential candidate, while making the announcement on Twitter, also insisted that votes can’t be cast after the polls have been concluded, as he revealed he was going to have a big win.

Trump tweeted;

We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the election. We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Poles are closed!”

“I will be making a statement tonight. A big WIN!”

However, Twitter has flagged his tweet immediately, as they placed a warning and added a misinformation label on the tweet.

The company explained its actions in a tweet, stating that the Donald Trump message contained a potentially misleading claim about the ongoing US election.
