The President was impeached over his role in inciting the deadly insurrection on the US Capitol last week.
Mr Trump has become the first president in US history to be impeached for a second time during their time in office.
“We know that the President of the United States incited this insurrection, this armed rebellion against our common country,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on the House floor ahead of the vote. “He must go. He is a clear and present danger to the nation that we all love.”
As many as 10 Republicans voted to impeachment the president.
The impeachment charges will now move to a trial in the Senate, but it is unclear how the trial will proceed, or whether it will commence before Mr Trump leaves office on January 20 and Joe Biden is sworn in.
A two-thirds majority of the 100 senators would be needed to convict the president on the charges and remove him from office.
However, in the Senate, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is not planning to bring the Senate back for a trial before January 19, meaning the trial won’t begin until Trump is out of office and Biden has been sworn in, CNN reports.
