VeryDarkMan apologises after his fight with Mr Jollof inside an aircraft

Social critic, Martins Otse aka VeryDarkMan, has tendered an apology over the in-flight brawl he had with Freedom Atsepoyi also known as Mr Jollof.

Both men who are sworn enemies and have had several fights on social media, one of which is currently in court, exchanged blows while onboard a United Air airline yesterday November 17.

Speaking in a video posted on Instagram on Tuesday, VDM said the incident should not have happened. He apologized to all the mothers, all the daddies, all the uncles, all the younger ones” as well as the pilot and flight crew who may have been affected by the fight.

“I would really like to apologise for what happened yesterday on the United Nigerian Airlines. What happened yesterday was not supposed to happen, and I will take full responsibility for it,” he said.

He noted that the altercation delayed passengers who had important engagements.

“A lot of people on that flight had important things to do, but because of that little irresponsibility from my end, their flight was delayed. Some people might have had medical emergencies, and some had business contracts to sign. I don’t know what that little delay would have cost them, and I really want to apologise,” he said

Speaking further, he said

“Looking back at what happened yesterday, I really didn’t like that part. Even though some people saw everything as a cruise on social media, I acted irresponsibly’’

He also hinted that himself and Jollof might still have another fight but promised it will not be in a public space.

“I cannot guarantee that it will not happen again. I can only guarantee that it will not happen on the plane, on the bus or in a public place that will stop people from going to their destination. But I am really, really sorry for yesterday”he said
