Attacks on security formations in Ebonyi state has continued, leading to the death of a police officer.
Obiozara police station in Ohaozara local government area of Ebonyi state was invaded by unknown gunmen in the early hours of Thursday May 6.
Office of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) and the admin building were reportedly razed down by the gunmen during the attack which occurred by 3am.
The Nation reported that a source within the area noted the main police station at the LGA was burnt down during the #EndSARS protest.
Police spokesman, Loveth Odah confirmed the attack. She said the gunmen invaded the station in large numbers.
