Lady and her 16-yr-old daughter murdered while trying to rescue her from a neighbor attempting to r*pe her
A 49-year-old woman, Nkechinyere Nnaama, and her daughter Ifunanya, 16, were allegedly brutally murdered in a suspected botched r*pe attempt on March 30th, 2021.
It was gathered that Nkechinyere had walked in on her male flatmate, attempting to r*pe her daughter. When she tried to raise an alarm, the suspect grabbed a hammer and hit her on the head before turning to Ifunanya.
According to Facebook user, Amaka Okeagu, who shared the news on Facebook, the unfortunate incident happened last month. Nkechinyere died on the way to the hospital while her daughter passed away a day later, March 31.
The deceased will be laid to rest on Friday, June 4, 2021, in their hometown, Umuonaga village Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Meanwhile, the suspect who ran away after the incident, was later arrested and has allegedly confessed to the crime.
