Pastor Chris Okafor’s ex-wife has spoken out, declaring that she left the marriage because of what she described as shame and emotional pain. In her words: “I left him because of the shame and disgrace he brought to the body of Christ for me and my children. I didn’t like the way he spoke about them, so I left him he didn’t leave me.”
She insists that the pastor’s recent actions are not genuine remorse, stating: “Chris Okafor is apologizing to gain public sympathy.” She challenged him to stop seeking pity and “come out and tell the world the whole truth.”
Recalling a painful experience in their marriage, she said: “After our marriage I saw a marriage certificate under his bed, I started crying cause I didn’t know he was even married before.” When she confronted him, she said he denied it, adding that “he just got me in my prime and used me as a baby machine.”
She explained that silence over the years was for the sake of her children: “For me your apologies is nothing. Stand firm and tell the world the whole truth. I have been quiet for 14yrs does not mean weakness I did all that for the sake of my children.”
