Slay Queen granted N5m bail after being arrested for bl*ckmailing her ‘client’ with s*x tape

The Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, has granted a N5 million bail to a 19-year-old slay Queen, Charlotte Delhi, who allegedly bl*ckmailed a former permanent secretary of the state ministry of education, Dr. Walton Liverpool, with a s*x tape.

The defendant was arrested and charged to court by the Department of State Services (DSS) for crimes related to bl*ckmail and cyberstalking.

During the proceedings on Friday, October 22, Justice Isa Dashen, the sitting judge, granted the defendant bail at N5million and a surety with landed property in the jurisdiction of the state.

While testifying in court, the alleged victim, Liverpool, said he met the accused on Facebook on August 2021, 2021, and had a consensual encounter at an hotel in Yenagoa, unknown to him, he was taped.

“On the 8th of September, 2021, I was hosted to a reception after the ceremony, I retired to my room to sleep. At about midnight, I received a Whatsapp message on my phone announcing a package for me.

I inquired who the sender of the message was and asked the nature of the package. I was told that they have made a video of me. When I asked for the identity of the sender, they told me not to worry and that I should cooperate with them and the matter will be over.

I was asked to pay the sum of N15million or else the n*de video will be posted on social media. I pleaded that I will pay the sum of N1million and pleaded that I needed to sell a property to raise a million naira. They sent me another message that I should pay the sum of N5 million. They thre*tened not to accept anything less.

After six days, on the 14th of September, 2021, I was alerted that my n*de video have been posted on Facebook. They tagged members of the State House of Assembly, present and former State Commissioners, Local Government Chairmen and former Chief of Staff to Governor, Rt. Hon. Talford Ongolo,” he said.

He added the n*de video allegedly released by the accused has caused him psychological and physical pains.
