… The Spirit Of Jerry Rawlings Of Ghana May Possess Nigerian Youth.

The Apex Socio-cultural Youth organization of Igbo race world wide, Ohanaeze Youth Council(OYC) ably led by Comrade Igboayaka O Igboayaka has warned Nigeria Politicians that Nigeria Political and economic situation might awake the spirit of Jerry Rawlings in Nigeria Youth.

Prof. Ango Abdullahi, representing the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), made a landmark statement on November 12, 2024, asserting that Nigeria’s federation ceased to be viable since 2014, a decade ago.

It’s obvious that Prof Ango Abdullahi’s call for Nigeria’s renegotiation was a factor in Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest and detention by the federal government led by President Mohammadu Buhari, who shares Abdullahi’s regional affiliation.

The declaration by the Northern Elders Forum regarding Nigeria’s looming expiration date has legitimized the self-determination efforts and referendum advocacy led by Nnamdi Kanu of the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB)

According to recent reports, Omoyele Sowore, leader of the Revolution Now movement and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress(AAC), posited that the Igbo people can only realize their full potential if they secede from Nigeria, emphasizing the necessity of the country’s dissolution.

Nigeria’s current structure has sparked varied perspectives. Mallam Aminu Kano aptly described the nation’s advancement as one step forward and two steps backward, a prophetic statement made more than 50 years ago.

Throughout Nigeria’s various political periods, the notion of disintegration persists, however, neocolonialism’s powerful presence continues to obstruct Nigeria’s independence from European influence and political exploitation.

The oppressive strategies utilized by British interests and politicians to maintain control over Nigeria may drive the country’s young leaders and progressive elements to adopt extreme measures, echoing Jerry Rawlings’ methods, in pursuit of national survival.

Nigeria political profiteers, leech and scavagers should earnestly wake before the spirit of Jerry Rawlings of Ghana possesse Nigerian youth

We applaud Prof Ango Abdullahi’s boldness in speaking truth to power and encourage him to issue a formal statement calling for Nnamdi Kanu’s immediate and unconditional release from DSS detention.

We urge Prof Ango Abdullahi to emulate Gen Yakubu Gowon’s 1966 stance that Nigeria’s unity is baseless and champion the creation of a sovereign Northern Nigeria.

Objective analysis reveals Nigeria’s inherent unsustainability, underscoring the imperative of a sovereign national conference or referendum as the exclusive means of safeguarding Nigerians’ future and promoting national cohesion.

Therefore, it’s evidently clear that Nigeria is irredeemable, irreconcilable, unsustainable and irreparable, dissolution remain a viable option.

A peaceful approach to resolving Nigeria’s disintegration is more advisable than permitting the situation to descend into chaos akin to Somalia and Haiti’s political crises.

It’s timely for the Northern Political bloc, which advocated for Nnamdi Kanu’s prosecution, to offer him an unreserved apology and champion the cause of self-determination.

The Northern region possesses sufficient natural and human resources to develop as a self-sustaining nation, potentially surpassing numerous African countries, many of which are thriving without oil resources, thereby exceeding its current situation within Nigeria.

For Nigeria to reach its full potential, it is essential to dismantle the British government’s control over the nation’s oil and gas resources, which has fueled poverty, economic stagnation, tribal divisions, and mortality, allowing regions to flourish independently and harness their unique strengths.

Signed
Comrade Igboayaka O Igboayaka
National President General Ohanaeze Youth Council(OYC)
