Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, has expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu will continue to receive divine guidance in leading Nigeria and addressing the nation’s challenges.
Speaking on Thursday during an inspection of ongoing bridge projects in Lagos, including the Carter Bridge scheduled for reconstruction next week, Umahi said he believes God will continue to support the President in tackling issues such as insecurity and driving national development.
“The same God that brought him is going to be there to solve all the problems,” the minister said, while urging Nigerians to support the administration’s efforts to improve security and governance.
According to Umahi, every leader desires peace during their tenure, but responsible leadership requires confronting challenges whenever they arise.

“There is no leader who will not want his reign to be peaceful, but when crises come, the leader must confront them. That is exactly what we are doing,” he stated.
The minister added that whether the country’s security challenges are politically motivated or not, he is confident Tinubu will receive the wisdom and strength needed to overcome them.
Umahi also expressed optimism that all projects initiated by the current administration would be completed, saying, “Your hands that have started this will complete it.”
