An airport staff has been nabbed after stealing from travelers in Ghana, a revelation that has shocked many travelers.

The truth is, lost baggage is a relatively rare occurrence. Collectively, airlines “mishandled” 4.68 bags for every 1,000 passengers in November 2019, the most recent month for which data is available. That’s not a lot. But the impact of those lost bags on travelers can be significant.

A staff of Ghana’s Kotoka International Airport has been nabbed after stealing from the luggage of travellers.

The shamefaced staff was reportedly busted for stealing a number of electronic gadgets from travellers by security personnel.

It was further learnt that the airport worker who was nabbed with 10 mobile phones, was handcuffed to be taken to the Police station for further questioning.
