Nigerian First Lady , Hajiya Aisha Buhari was flown to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for medical treatment of persistent neck pain.

According to Sahara Reporters, Mrs. Buhari was flown out of the country during the Sallah holiday last week after complaining of neck pain for about two weeks before that time.

A top Presidency official was also said to have confirmed this to The PUNCH on Friday.

The neck pain was said to have started shortly after she returned to Abuja from a trip to Lagos in July where she had visited Florence, widow of former Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi, who died of COVID-19 complications on June 25, 2020.

The first lady was said to have undergone self-isolation for 14 days after the Lagos trip because of the neck pain that refused to stop for close to one month after the condolence journey.

The frightening scenario shortly after the self-isolation safety protocol was said to have prompted the decision to move her to Dubai for immediate medical attention, DailyTrust reported.

Daily Trust gathered that the first lady, who is now observing bed rest at an undisclosed hospital, is in a stable condition
