Governor of Lagos State, Mr Sanwo-Olu in Alleged conversation between a foreign envoy has been leaked online.

Mr Sanwo-Olu in a leaked audio tape, allegedly admitted that the security operatives who were shooting at the Lekki toll gate on October 20, 2020, were military men.

Governor Sanwo-Olu in the conversation, said that the first curfew which was broadcasted was meant to start by 4pm but was extended to 10pm when they realized that EndSARS protesters were still at the Lekki toll gate.

The Governor also admitted that the security operatives were meant to come out by 10pm, during the time of the curfew.

However, he admitted that by 7pm some unit of the military men went to the Lekki toll gate and started shooting at unarmed protesters which led to the massacre of unarmed protesters.

He also revealed that the barracks of the military unit that stormed the Lekki toll gate protest before the beginning of the 10 pm curfew, was less than 10 minutes from the protest ground.

Sanwo-Olu admitted that the orders given to the unit of the military men who shot at the Lekki toll gate, came from the military camp.
