Erica’s GoFundMe page might reach it’s ambitious $100,000 target, as it as already garnered over N5.6 million in less than 14 hours.

The GoFundMe was created by Ehizode Irefo on behalf of Isioma Anumele.

As at the last check by LailasNews, The GofundMe campaign for disqualified BBNaija housemate Erica Ngozi Nlewedim raked in $14,768 dollars, 14 hours after it was launched.

Richmond, Texas based Irefo, who launched the campaign said it was for For Erica Nlewedim, “the star of BBNaija season 5, Lockdown edition whose journey on the show came to an emotional end – To realize some of her hopes and aspirations”.

There are already 173 donors, and the hashtag #EricaGoFundMe is currently trending on social media, with many believing more funds would be donated soon.

Erica was evicted following her verbal abuse on Laycon after yesterday Biggie organization decided to disqualify her for breaking the house rule.

According to Biggie, Erica’s actions demonstrated a flagrant disrespect of the rules. This was compounded by the fact that she is HOH in addition to the final and last warning she got last week.

Erica is the first Big Brother Lockdown housemate to be disqualified from the show. Biggie stated the rule and regulations of house, which she was found guilty of breaking.

Biggie listed all Erica’s offences; ranting at Laycon last night and preventing Prince from sleeping on the HOH lounge. Infringements include pouring water on the bed, depriving DHOH of the bed, goading a h-mate which might lead to physical violence.
