Former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, is dead, aged 70.

According to Sahara reporters, Abiola Ajimobi who slipped into a coma due to coronavirus complications, was on life support machine last Friday at First Cardiology Hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos, before he died.

Kemi Olunloyo however claims he died at about 3:45PM today, June 25, 2020. She wrote on her social media page;

Confirming the death of former governor Ajimobi, Hon Akin Alabi, shared pictures with him which he captioned;

Forever in my heart. ❤❤❤

At the time of this report, close members of his family are yet to confirm his death.

Recall that over a week ago, there were rumours that the ex-Governor had died after testing positive to Coronavirus and was reported to be in a critical condition before the time of his death.This was debunked by members of his family and media aide, Bolajii Tunji who insisted he was still alive.
