Bribe-seeking ENTRACO official escapes being lynched for causing an accident

A bribe-seeking official of the Environmental Transformation Commission (ENTRACO), today, July 27, 2020, narrowly escaped being lynched by an angry mob at Ama JK by Douglas, Owerri, Imo State.

According to an eyewitness, the official allegedly caused a near-fatal accident while trying to extort money from a commercial bus driver.

Three persons are said to have sustained severe injuries and one is currently battling for his life.

“The official was saved by a military man who intervened and appealed to the angry mob,” a source said.
