British Royal Family raised concerns over my son’s skin color while I was pregnant
Meghan Markle has told Oprah in a tell-all interview on Sunday, March 7, that there were concerns in the Royal Family about her son’s skin colour before he was born.
The Duchess of Sussex, revealed that the decision to not gift their 22-month-old son, Archie Harrison, a prince title wasn’t theirs to make as the Royal Family had concerns about his skin color and refused him the title.
“While I was pregnant, the royal family said they want to change the convention for Archie. Per tradition, grandchildren of the monarch automatically are given a title. And with that title, comes safety and protection. It’s not their right to take it away and yet they did,” she said.
