Covid-19: Actress Omotola reacts after being criticized

Popular Nigerian actress, Omotola Jalade has reacted to a comment by a fan who criticized her for campaigning for cinema to reopen amidst the Coronavirus.

Omotola called for the reopening of cinema, that all other indoor places have been opened, so why cinemas still remain locked

She wrote;

I believe cinemas are easier to monitor and regulate. If other indoor places are open, why not the Cinemas? Temp checks, masks, distancing etc

We need to work together to ensure safer ways to keep the Arts going . Many livelihoods depend on this. It can and MUST be done as safely as possible. #savecinemas

The campaign prompted a fan to criticize her post and asked why she is advocating for cinema reopening when herself is a testimony that the virus is real.

Omotola however blew hot and told the fan that “You look intelligent, don’t disappoint me”.
