The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide,  Apostle Johnson Suleman in his last ministration admonished his church members on a better way live a good life.

Apostle said ”a generation of ladies are now doing surgery on their body, and they forget to do surgery on their character, because when you do surgery on your body, you get the man but it is your character that keeps the man”.

He went on to say

”Let me say something, nature is superior to effort. A proud poor man can never be a humble millionaire, can never. Wealth, fame, political power, social power only amplifies who you are. There is nobody who becomes proud because he has money. He has always been proud before he has money.

So, when you aspire for any level in life, it should be on the platform of good nature, because when you get to that zenith and apex of life. It will amplify who you really are. We saw something that played out in the state recently. Never desire power without character. That is the problem we have.

In this generation, where people are trying to reconfigure who they are. A generation of ladies are now doing surgery on their body, and they forget to do surgery on their character, because when you do surgery on your body, you get the man but it is your character that keeps the man. So, when you are putting money together to go see a doctor for surgery on your body, raise some money to see that same doctor to do surgery on your character.

So, when you see people become proud, it’s their nature. People aspiring for office, telling you who they are. Don’t listen to what he says, listen to who he is. When you are seeing pride, you’re seeing vindictiveness, you’re seeing name calling, you’re seeing him insulting people, that will be a bad leader because real aspiring leader don’t discuss people, they discuss issues.

So, you become proud also, you become Arrogant. When you get to that level, you forget three things. No matter what you have today, you are not the first person. 1Corithians4v7 says, what made you different from another person, what did you have that you did not receive. If you are proud, three things should be your watchword.

1. No matter what you have, you are not the first.

2. You must understand something clearly, what ever you have is not permanent. You may take the centre stage now, somebody is going to come in too.

3. What you do to people in your days of fame, wealth, popularity, political power. What you do to people will be your retirement. It’s the gratitude or pension that government will not pay you, but life will pay you and it’s on platform on how treated people in your days of glory, be careful”!
