There is uncertainty as the Nigerian government prepares to arraign 76 EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protesters on November 1.

OSMEK NEWS gathered that the Nigerian government planned to arraign 76 protesters, out of which 66 are minors on November 1, 2024.

The protesters will be arraigned before Justice Egwuatu of the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Nigerians had filed out on August 1 to 10, 2024 to protest against bad governance in the country.

The protesters had barricaded roads and some major streets across the country during the protest.

In September, 10 members of the Endbadgovernance protesters were arraigned before a Federal High Court in Abuja on charges of attempting to overthrow President Bola Ahmed Tinubu between July 1 and August 4 this year.

The accused persons were said to have committed the treasonable offence during their one-week nationwide protests when they allegedly levied war against Nigeria.

But, 76 other protesters remain locked up while spending about 80 days in detention.

However, activist lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, in a chat with DAILY POST, said: “A reminder that END BAD GOVERNANCE protesters who have spent about 80 days in custody without charge will be arraigned tomorrow at Federal High Court 10 Abuja by 9am. They are mostly minors.”
