FCC Withdraws Arrest Warrant Against Mercy Chinwo’s Manager After Lawyer’s begged for Voluntary Court Appearance for Criminal Charge by EFCC Against Him
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has withdrawn the arrest warrant issued against the manager of gospel artist Mercy Chinwo. This follows an appeal by the manager’s legal representative, who pleaded with the court, stating that his client was unaware of the summons and assured his voluntary appearance in court. The EFCC agreed to withdraw the warrant on the condition that the manager honors future court appearances.
The case has been adjourned to February 14, 2025, for arraignment.
