The Federal government of Nigeria has reportedly suspended 12 directors of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

According to the Nations, the notice of suspension for the directors was communicated to the Acting Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Mohammed Umar, by the Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation on Tuesday night July 14.

The suspension of EFCC directors comes few days after the Federal government suspended the commission’s acting chairman, Ibrahim Magu, who is now being investigated for allegations of fraud
