Germany picks Ghana as location for its West African centre for global health

Ghana has been chosen again as location for Germany’s West African Centre for Global Health and Pandemic Prevention.

Christoph Retzlaff, the German ambassador, revealed this in a tweet he shared on his official Twitter page on Thursday April 15.

He added that the new Ghanaian centre will be one of eighth other centers used to fight against global health challenges.

“Excellent news: Germany will support launch of a new “German-West African Center for Global Health and Pandemic Prevention.

“It will be located in Ghana and be part of 8 new centers worldwide to fight global challenges.” He tweeted.

The announcement came few days after popular social media giant, Twitter announced that its African headquarters will be sited in Ghana.
