The Bank of Ghana has issued a directive banning the pricing, advertising, receipting or making payments for goods and services in Foreign currency in the country.
The directive was issued in a statement released today April 7.
The statement noted that the legal currency in Ghana is the Cedis and should be the only means of exchange.
Following the launch of the eNaira by President Muhammadu Buhari, the application for the digital currency introduced by the CBN is available for download.
