Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has sacked his Special Adviser on Media, Salihu Tanko Yakasai.
Mr Yakasai was sacked over his continued unguarded comments and utterances towards President Buhari and APC government.
This came after Special Adviser to the Kano State Governor on Media, Salihu Tanko Yakasai has gone missing after he called on President Buhari’s government to resign.
His Family said that the Aide’s whereabout became a mystery since Friday evening and his phone lines were not reachable.
Recall that Salihu Tanko yesterday Friday, February 26, reacted to students’ abduction at Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe in Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
In a tweet posted on his official account, he said President Buhari’s led-government should resign if the administration can’t tackle the insecurity in the country.
The state commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba, in a statement on Saturday, February 26, said the sack is with immediate effect.
He also said that Yakasai had failed to differentiate between personal opinion and official stand on matters of public.
