The Lagos State governor Babajide SanwoOlu today joined several Lagosian to protest against police brutality in Nigeria.
The governor joined protesters in Alausa Ikeja to protest and appealed to them to remain calm and peaceful while they make their demands.
Governor SanwoOlu Joins #EndSarsNow ProtestersThe governor shared photos of himself at the protest on his official Twitter handle and said he received a letter of demands from the protesters who highlighted their plights and the solution to their plights.
The governor also mentioned that a trust fund will be open by the state government for victims of police brutality in the state and will be managed by members of the public.
