Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, a non-denominational ministry, has opened what it says is the first combined orphanage and elderly care home in Imo State.

The facility, named Seraphic Home, is located in Mgbirichi, Ohaji Egbema, near Owerri. It was officially commissioned by Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma.

During the event, Governor Uzodimma acknowledged the effort behind the project and its potential role in supporting vulnerable groups within the state.

According to the ministry’s Spiritual Director, Evangelist Chukwuebuka Obi, the home is designed to provide free shelter, food, clothing, education, and healthcare to orphans and elderly individuals. He noted that similar projects are being considered for other parts of the country.
