Guinness World Records has issued an official warning to Nigerians who want to break a record like Chef Hilda Baci.
Guinness World Records took to Twitter today, July 4th, 2023, to advise Nigerians and others on what to do before attempting to break any of their records.
On June 13th, 2023, Guinness World Records confirms Chef Hilda Baci of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, as the world’s longest cooking individual with a time of 93 hours and 11 minutes.
Following this development, other people, mostly Nigerians, including Chef Dammy from Ekiti State and Chef Adeyeye Adeola from Ondo State, sought to break the record by setting targets of 120 and 150 hours, respectively.
Recently, another Nigerian lady identified as Joyc Ijeoma attempts to massage people for 72 hours in Lekki for GWR, however, she collapsed at 50 hours.
Reacting to all these attempts, the Guinness World Record refers to it as futile as the tweet asserts that the world record title must be confirmed before attempting it.
The Guinness World in the post shared content on how to apply to set or break the world record.
The tweet reads;
“Polite reminder that you should probably have your world record title confirmed by our team before attempting it here’s how our process works.”
