Hoodlums set BRT bus abl@ze after commercial bus driver di£d in an accid£nt in Lagos

An unnamed commercial bus driver has been confirmed d£ad in an accid£nt involving two commercial buses and a government-owned BRT bus in Lagos.
The accid£nt occurred around the Ogudu bridge, inward the Alapere area of the state, on Wednesday, April 19.
The Director of Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Adebayo Taofiq, confirmed this in a statement released on Wednesday afternoon.
“Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) today rescued 7 passengers with various degrees of inj¥ries after a painted commercial bus had serious head on collision with another bus belonging to Lagos Bus Service Limited at Ifako inward Ogudu area of the State.
The commercial bus som£r§aulted twice and the driver di£d instantly following the seriousness of the collision which was as a result of loss of control due to over speeding.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the fully loaded commercial bus was coming from Lagos Island and heading to Ogudu when the accid£nt occurred.
While other emergency responders including Traffic Police Officers supported Officials of Lastma at the accid£nt scene, on hearing of the d£ath of the commercial driver whose body was lying beside the upturned commercial bus, hoodlums in the area set abl@ze the bus belonging to the Lagos State Bus Service Limited,” the statement reads in part.
