Ondo State Deputy Governor, Hon. Agboola Ajayi, has now tendered his resignation from the ruling party in the state .
Ajayi resigned from the All Progressives Congress, on Sunday at Ward 2, Apoi in Eseodo local government.
This is coming hours after he was allegedly prevented from leaving the State House over his plans on leaving the party for the opposition.

The Nation reports that he immediately picked membership card of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) at his ward.
Meanwhile his boss, Governor Akeredolu, in a tweet has debunked claims that he ordered Ajayi’s restriction of movement and wished him well .
