I feel like raping any girl that comes my way – Suspect

Quadri Azeez, alleged rapist, who was dragged before Osogbo Magistrate Court, has confessed he feels like raping every girl that comes his way.

A 20-year-old Azeez was arraigned by police before Chief Magistrate, Dr Olusegun Ayilara, on Friday on two counts of rape and assault.

The charge sheet brought by the Police Prosecutor, Inspector Elisha Olusegun, read, “that you Quadri Azeez on March 6, 2021 at Ara area, Ede, unlawful have carnal knowledge and indecently assault one girl (name withheld) thereby committed an offence punishable under sections 358 and 360 of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol. II Laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2002.”

Dr Ayilara refused to take the plea of the defendant.

He questioned why he was charged to court.

Azeez said: “I always feel like raping girls that come my way, I always feel unease when I sight any girl, my parent has been going about for spiritual solution to my problem before I rape this girl. This is the first girl I will ever rape.”

The Magistrate ordered that he should be remanded in Ilesha Correctional Centre and adjourned the case till March 15, 2021.
