The Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made this declaration in a statement by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Dr Magdalene Ajani, on Saturday in Abuja. Tunji-Ojo felicitated with Nigerians at home and abroad on the occasion. The minister applauded the patient and hardworking Nigerian men and women, stressing that their sacrifices would not be in vain. He emphasised the need for Nigerians to reflect on the labour of our heroes past and be inspired for the tasks ahead. The minister, while wishing Nigerians a happy celebration, urged them to continue to be steadfast in nation-building.
