Insecurity: Allow Nigerians bear arms for self-defence — Reps. Majority Leader to Buhari

Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Ado Doguwa, has asked the government to allow Nigerians to bear arms in self-defence, ChannelsTV is reporting.

This, according to him, is considering the deteriorating security situation in the country.

Ado Doguwa, who is a member of the ruling party representing Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency of Kano State, made the demands during plenary on Thursday.

The House was debating the aftermath of the b#mbing of the Abuja-Kaduna train by g#nmen suspected to be terr#rists earlier in the week. Shedding tears on the floor of the house, Doguwa noted that the security agencies have failed and citizens should not be at the mercy of terr#rists or bandits.
